Katrick Technologies to pitch at ChangeNOW.
We have been selected to pitch at the global climate event ChangeNOW in Paris on the 20th of May, 2022. The summit, which is the largest event for solutions for the planet worldwide, will take place at the Grand Palais Éphémère and the Eiffel Tower. Katrick Technologies’ pitch will highlight its revolutionary net zero innovations and vision for the future.
The idea for ChangeNOW was conceived in 2015 as a response to the limited platforms available for impact innovators developing solutions for the changing planet. ChangeNOW was created as a summit for the impact community to build connections, generate investment and increase awareness. As part of the event, a series of pitch sessions will allow companies and talent to present their solutions to a high-level jury of investors, corporate representatives and journalists related to their impact field. Participants will also connect with an audience of potential investors, customers and media contacts to help to generate interest and give visibility to new cleantech and sustainability solutions.
At ChangeNOW, Katrick Technologies will be pitching on 20 May at the Grand Palais Éphémère at the Garden stage, in the 11:00-12:30 central European summer time (CEST) Sustainable Cities session. The presentation will discuss our technologies and their potential applications, along with Katrick Technologies’ vision for the future and the goals for scaling up and diversifying their innovations for even more widespread use.
We will be pitching its ground-breaking wind panels — unique, modular units which can capture an even wider range of winds than wind turbines to produce 22000-kilowatt hours of electricity per 10 kW rated panel array annually. The panels are smaller and more versatile in where they can be placed, and are suitable for use in urban and even residential areas.
The presentation will also cover its passive cooling system for data centres, a heat removal system powered by waste heat produced by the centre’s operations using our patented thermal vibration bell (TVB). Heat from the data centre’s servers creates vibrations within environmentally friendly bi-fluids, which in turn power oscillating fins which work to cool the surrounding environment. Recent trials of the system with UK data centre iomart resulted in a reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions from the cooling of up to 70 per cent.
“Katrick Technologies is dedicated to developing viable, accessible and profitable cleantech innovations that can be implemented in a multitude of markets and applications. It is important to raise awareness of how technology can help tackle some of the current key problems and accelerate the worldwide effort to achieve net zero” said Karthik Velayutham, Katrick Technologies co-CEO and founder. “ChangeNOW provides a global platform for impact professionals to connect. Communication and relationship building within the impact community to provide visibility and synergy between innovators, investors and talent are absolutely essential in providing effective solutions to climate and environmental issues.”
